Message if the cam is rotating too fast, the valve will not reseat properly, allowing compressed air to leak.
generally, they change cam profile and valve spring rates to compensate for valve float.
but when you increase RPMs, you have to have a custom grind to get enough air into the cylinders to prevent going lean.

it's not a simple a=b.
it effects everything else in the line of duty tho, so it's not just a single 'mod'
